Learn from an executive-overview of certain aspects of the “clarity” statements on auditing standards issued by the AICPA Auditing Standards Board. Focus on the recently effective COSO standard (Integrated Framework-2013) as it addresses the role of internal control in a risk-based audit. Additionally, address practical applications of standards regarding risk and materiality in the risk-based audit.
