Do you need a dynamic CPA to discuss personal finance or small business topics at your next meeting or gathering? If so, then turn to the Texas Society of CPAs. Our member volunteers perform FREE public service by promoting financial literacy through speaking engagements and presentations.

Sample topics include:

• Personal Finance (avoiding an IRS audit, preparing a personal budget, saving and investing, retirement planning, keeping good financial records, choosing a CPA, etc.)
• Small business advice (dealing with the IRS, insurance issues, retirement plan options, working with your banker, start-up issues, strategic planning, tax implications, etc.)
• CPA services and careers (how to become a CPA, accounting education, school presentations, etc.)
